FG Declares Public Holiday For Christmas And New Year

FG Wishes Nigerians Happy Christmas And New Year Celebrations

Tuesday, 25th, Wednesday 26th December, 2018 and Tuesday 1st January 2019 have been declared as public holidays by the federal government to mark the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year celebrations, respectively.

Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, made the declaration on Wednesday on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement signed by the ministry’s Director of Press, Mohammed Manga.

The statement by Dambazau enjoined all Christian faithful and Nigerians as a whole to use the period to reflect and pray earnestly for the betterment and development of Nigeria.

He wished Nigerians a peaceful Christmas and new year celebration.
