The scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) has again hit the Osun state as many petrol stations were not selling the product but rather hoarding the product.
Naija News reports that some stations were not selling the products while a long queue was sighted in the filling stations that sell the product.
The scarcity of the product is as a result of the inability of many of the Independent marketers to lift the product at the Lagos depot.
This news platform also understands that commercial drivers were taking advantage of the scarcity to increase transport fares.
The news of the scarcity of the product comes after the federal government had assured that there was no scarcity of fuel in any part of the country.
Naija News had reported that the minister of state for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu had on Sunday assured Nigerians that there is sufficient Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel, in the country.
Kachikwu gave the assurance to dispel the rumour suggesting that the country might still experience fuel scarcity.
