The Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Gboyega Akosile, the publisher of Africa News24 (AN24), as his Deputy Chief Press Secretary.
Naija News reports that Sanwo-Olu who was inaugurated as the Governor of Lagos state made the appointment on Thursday, May 30.
Mr Akosile is the Chief Executive Officer of BridgeWorld Communications, a company which specialises on brands marketing.
This online news platform understands that the Governor also appointed six Permanent Secretaries.
A circular sighted by Naija News listed the six newly-appointed Permanent Secretaries to include: Dr Eniayewun Ademuyiwa Benjamin, Erinle Olumide Olufolami, Oludara Okelola, Akewusola Wasiu Adedamola, Falugba Yewande Abiodun and Osi-Efa Mustapha Abiodun.
The portfolios of the six newly-appointed Permanent Secretaries are to be announced later.
