Nigerians React As Omo-Agege Emerges 9th Assembly Deputy Senate President

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has been elected the 9th Assembly Deputy Senate President with 68 votes.

Naija News recalls that the new deputy senate president defeated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ike Ekweremadu during the election which took place on the floor of the Senate Chamber on Tuesday.

Omo-Agege polled a total of 68 votes to defeat his challenger, Ekweremadu of the PDP who polled 37 votes of the 105 votes cast.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have started reacting to the surprise victory and emergence Omo Agege.
