Police Speak On The Rescue Of Kidnapped Buhari’s In-law

Police authorities in Kano state have revealed that it rescued the Magajin Garin Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar Uba, from his abductors at Gangan Ruwa Quarters in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano state today.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Abdullahi, the district head was rescued by operatives of the Inspector General of Police’s Operation Puff Adder Intelligence Response Team in collaboration with Kano State Police Command.

Abdullahi said the operation took place around 20:00hrs on Monday

Daily Trust quoted Abdullahi to have said,  “I cannot mention the number of suspects arrested because the operation is still ongoing. The area has been condoned off by our men.”

Naija News recalls that the traditional ruler who is married to Biliki, a niece to President Muhammadu Buhari was rescued after spending two months with his abductors.
