Presidential Tribunal Delivers Judgement

The 2019 presidential petition election tribunal will today deliver judgement in the case by Atiku Abubakar challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the polls.

As earlier reported by Naija News, security operatives have beefed up security at the Court of Appeal, Abuja, venue of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Atiku, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is challenging the victory of Buhari as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) the nation’s electoral umpire.

The security operatives made up of men of the Nigeria Police, the Department of State Services and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps mounted checks at both ends of the stretch of the road to the court.

Similarly, big shots from both parties, the PDP and the APC have also arrived in court.

Naija News has obtained videos of some scenes from outside the courtroom in Abuja where the judgement is set to be delivered.
