Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the abduction of six students and two teachers by unknown gunmen in Kaduna State.
Naija News reports that eight people comprising six female students and two teachers were on Thursday abducted by gunmen who attacked a private secondary school in Kaduna State.
This online platform gathered the gunmen, entered the school through a broken fence and headed for the female hostel, where six students were abducted.
The yet-to-be-identified gunmen during the early morning raid, also kidnapped two teachers said to be residing inside the school compound.
Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode called on security agencies, the Kaduna State government and the federal government to rescue the victims.
He wrote: “I condemn the abduction of 6 school girls and 2 teachers by armed men at Engravers College, Chikun LGA, Kaduna state today.
“I call on the law enforcement agencies, the Kaduna State Govt. and the Federal Govt. to do all they can to rescue them and return them home safely.”
