The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, has directed all officers of the force to henceforth declare their assets.
Naija News learnt that Adamu gave the order in Abuja when members of the board of Code of Conduct Bureau, led by its chairman, Prof. Mohammed Isah paid him a courtesy visit on Tuesday.
Adamu noted that the declaration of assets of public officers was compulsory and that failure to do so was against the law. Adamu also pledged support for the Bureau, to facilitate its activities. 
Earlier, the CCB Chairman, Prof. Mohammed Isah, underscored the important role of the police to the enforcement of the code of conduct on all public officers.
