Fani-Kayode Speaks On Abduction Of Nine Muslim Children In Kano

The minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned the abduction of nine children in Kano State.

There had been a report that nine children were kidnapped in Kano and taken to Onitsha in Anambra State where they were sold.

The Muslim Rights Concern, while reacting to the abduction, described the incident as kidnapping for Christ, claiming that nine Muslim children were converted to Christianity and sold into slavery.

The former minister described the abduction as an act of wickedness, he added that the suspects should be given the harshest punishments when caught.

Fani-Kayode condemned MURIC’s stand that the kidnap was for Christ.

In his statement, he claimed that the suspect carried out the crime to satisfy their own evil passions, carnal desires, love of money, insatiable greed and inexplicable cruelty and has nothing to do with God or faith.

“Stop this provocative nonsense! Nobody kidnaps for Christ. Kidnappers abduct others to satisfy their own evil passions, carnal desires, love of money, insatiable greed and inexplicable cruelty. It has nothing to do with God or faith. It is a human failing and not a religious one.”
