The former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has described the directive of the Federal Government ordering the Department of State Service to release the ex-National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and the convener of the RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore, as a welcome development.
Recall that the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, had ordered the release of Dasuki and Sowore from detention.
The former lawmaker while reacting to the decision of the federal government called on the President Buhari-led administration to extend its decision to other Nigerians in detention.
Sani who took to his Twitter account wrote: “Freedom for Dasuki and Sowore in compliance with the Court orders is a welcome development.”
“And that should be extended to others in same condition.”
