The co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) campaign, Aisha Yesufu, has lamented that President Muhammadu Buhari is intimidated by Boko Haram insurgents.
Naija News reports that Aisha, who is a strong critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of President Buhari, made this statement on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
The BBOG co-convener, who described Buhari’s administration’s fight against Boko Haram as a “technical issue,” added that Buhari talked tough about Boko haram before getting into office in 2015 but now seem to be intimidated by the group.
Aisha lamented that Boko Haram insurgents have intensified attacks while President Buhari’s “Next Level” government is focused on propaganda.
“Technical issue occurred. General Buhari @MBuhari who before May 29th, 2015 talked tough about Boko haram now seem to be intimidated by the group which has intensified attack while government is focused on propaganda,”
Mrs. Yesufu tweeted.
