How USA Reacted To The Death Of Abba Kyari

The United States of America has reacted to the passing away of Mallam Abba Kyari who was the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari until his passing away.

The reaction of the United States was contained in a statement through its embassy in Nigeria, where it commiserated with the family, people and government of Nigeria over the passing away of the top government official.

Naija News recalls Mallam Kyari died on Friday, 17th April from complications caused by the coronavirus infection and the death was confirmed by the presidency in a statement in the early hours of Saturday, 18th April.

“On the passing of the Presidential Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the U.S. Mission in Nigeria wishes to express sincerest condolences to his family and to the government of Nigeria. We mourn with Nigeria at the loss of this dedicated son and public servant,” a tweet on the US Embassy’s handle read.

This online news medium reports Kyari has been buried at the Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, on Saturday according to Islamic rites.
