The Lagos State government on Friday disclosed forty-two coronavirus patients have been discharged from different isolation centers in the state.
This was confirmed in a tweet by the State Ministry of Health.
Naija News reports that the discharged patients include 20 females and 22 males all of whom have tested negative twice consecutively to the coronavirus.
With the latest discharges, the total number of managed and discharged patients in Lagos now stands at 448.
“42 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 20 females & 22 males; all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities at Onikan, Eti-Osa (LandMark) and Lekki to reunite with the society.
“The patients; 2 from Onikan, 32 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) and eight from Lekki Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19
“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 448,” the statement reads.
