Wike Hosts Mimiko After Inviting Wamakko For Project Commissioning [Photos]

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Wednesday played host to a former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko.

Naija News reports that Wike hosted Mimiko at his country home in Rumuepirikom, Port Harcourt, to commission the dualisation of the Azikiwe-Ilaobuchi road in Port Harcourt.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter page on Wednesday, Mimko said the dualised Azikiwe-Ilaobuchi road is the brainchild of Governor Wike, popularly called “Mr Project”

Mimiko said the outpouring of love from Rivers people is a testament to the governor’s stellar performance and sacrifices, saying that he is proud of Wike’s achievements.

He wrote: “I had the pleasure of flagging off the dualisation of Azikiwe-Ilaobuchi road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, earlier today.

“This project, like many others, is the brainchild of @GovWike, popularly called ‘Mr Project’

“The outpouring of love from Rivers people today is a testament to your stellar performance and sacrifices. Mr Governor, I’m indeed proud of you.”

Mimiko’s visit to the state is coming 48 hours after Wike had invited Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State to inaugurate the Orochiri-Worukwo (Waterlines junction) Flyover.

It also comes a day after former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aliyu Wamakko came to commission the dualised Ogbunabali road in Port Harcourt.
