President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday night, hosted the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, to a State dinner held at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
During the event, which was attended by the delegation of the German Chancellor, the German and Nigerian anthems were rendered by the Guard Brigade Military Band.
The chancellor was accompanied to the event by a delegation of top government officials, high-ranking German business people, including Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of some of the highest-valued companies in the country as well as a cultural delegation.
Also, in attendance were President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
Others were the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister, Wale Edun, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu, and the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, among others.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, were also at the State dinner.
