Akeredolu Swear-in New Commissioners, Aides

Fourteen newly appointed commissioners, seven Special Advisers and the Director-General of the Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit have been sworn in by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State.

Naija News recalls that the commissioners were confirmed by the State House of Assembly last week while other appointments were made by the governor.

In a statement on Monday released by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, the governor advised the newly sworn-in cabinet members to show leadership in whatever positions they find themselves.

The governor also tasked the new appointees to work for the development and growth of the state, adding that he won’t tolerate laziness.

The governor, however, reassured the people of his administration’s commitment and focus to fulfill its pledges.
