Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are currently evaluating the future of Samuel Chukwueze, who has been struggling for playing time under head coach Paulo Fonseca this season.
Reports from TMW suggest that AC Milan are considering the option of sending Chukwueze out on loan when the transfer window reopens in January.
However, there is also the possibility of a straight sale of the 25-year-old Nigeria international.
Chukwueze, who joined AC Milan from La Liga club Villarreal for around €30 million last summer, has only managed to score once in 31 league appearances for the club.
To make his chances of establishing himself at AC Milan slimmer, the winger recently sustained a thigh injury while on international duty with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman, the Nigerian international playing for Atalanta, remains eager for a new challenge despite failing to secure a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.
Lookman had attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain, but Atalanta refused to sell him and reintegrated him into the team.
According to Sky Sports Deutschland transfer expert, Florian Plettenburg, Lookman is still keen to leave Atalanta and may request to be released in the January window if a suitable offer arises.
Atalanta are reportedly expecting around €30 million for Lookman, with the potential for a higher asking price if Lookman continues to perform well.
