Mohbad: ‘I Have Been Pencilled Down For Assassination’ – Nollywood Actor, Yomi Fabiyi Goes Into Hiding

Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has alleged he has been pencilled down for assassination over the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Nigerian singer, Mohbad.

Naija News reports that the filmmaker who had been calling for protest and demanding justice over the death of Mohbad claimed there were plans to kill him.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Yomi said he failed to attend Mohbad’s Coroner court on Monday due to the alleged assassination attempt on his life.

The thespian said he had reported the issue to the Nigerian police and pleaded that nothing must happen to his sources and everyone seeking justice for Mohbad.

According to Yomi, his death will cause a severe distraction on Mohbad’s cause and possibly stall it.

Yomi said he is currently out of Nigeria for his safety, adding that he did not receive any financial inducement in the call for justice.

Chike Pens Emotional Message For Mohbad

In other news, Nigeria’s celebrity musician, Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike, has recalled his togetherness with the late Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad.

Chike, who featured Mohbad in his ‘Egwu‘ track, said in his one-year remembrance message that Imole’s impact went beyond the music he played while alive.

The ‘SonofChike” album crooner stated that the “Walking Dead” crooner resonated the light his name Imole communicated.

On his X handle, on Thursday, the singer cried that Imole left the world tragically when the bond they were building was reaching its peak.
