“Everyone Is Trying To Emulate Success Of Nigerian Musicians, Except The Government”

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has noted that people in the Nigerian government are the only ones not trying to emulate the good things coming from the music industry.

Naija News reports that the 31-year-old singer took a swipe at bad governance in Nigeria while appearing on Trevor Noah’s “The Daily Show” ahead of his sold-out Madison Square concert.

As Trevor Noah disclosed that people all over the world are trying to copy the good things Nigerian artistes are doing, Burna chipped in that that does not include its government.

Also on the show, Burna Boy noted that Nigerians are always proud of their achievements and don’t hide it except they want to “scam you”

The Grammy winner on Friday received a plaque in recognition of his latest historic feat in The Netherlands.

The plaque was presented to him with the inscription; ”The First African To Ever Do It.”

Burna Boy recently held his 2022 Space Drift Tour at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and sold out the 17,000 capacity arena.
