2Baba Visits Late Sound Sultan’s Grave

Popular Nigeria singer, Innocent Idibia, professionally known as 2baba, during the weekend visited the gravesite of the late legendary singer, Sound Sultan.

Recall that Sound Sultan whose real name is Olanrewaju Fasasi, passed away in July last year after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.

Sound Sultan is survived by his wife, Farida Fasasi, and their three children.

2baba in a video posted on his Instagram account on Monday, had the company of other friends of the late singer while they paid tribute to the deceased by laying flowers on the tomb

Speaking on his tribute to the late singer, 2baba wrote, “Went to pay my respect to my brother Sound Sultan. With my brothers @emmaugolee @amfrankiej @blackahrank.

“July 11, world Sultan day. Blessed #grateful #warrior. We miss you my dear friend @soundsultan. Olanrewaju Fasasi. Bless up.”

The talented singer who was diagnosed with throat cancer died in the United States at the age of 44.

The late singer’s music career started in 1991 and released his first single “Jagbajantis” in 2000 which became a massive hit in Nigeria.

After independently releasing other singles and featuring in hit songs of other artists, he was signed by Kennis Music before moving to Naija Ninjas which he started with his brother Baba Dee
