Nigerian singer Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has knocked ‘Twitter Adviser’ Daniel Regha for calling him an upcoming artiste.
Naija News reports that trouble started after Peruzzi subtly shaded his colleagues over the tussle of Amapiano music in Africa.
Amidst the argument between Davido, May D and South Africa Producer, Maphorisa, Peruzzi in a post shared on Twitter wrote: “Na me bring am”.
However, Daniel Regha, who is known to always have an opinion about trending issues online, tackled Peruzzi for shading his colleagues.
According to him, Peruzzi is upcoming in the music industry and should not inherit beef because of his loyalty to Davido.
He wrote: “Peruzzi u shouldn’t be shading ur colleagues, especially since u are still an upcomer in the industry. Don’t inherit beefs to prove ur loyalty, or jump on trends to be in the spotlight, cos it will give u cl¤ut but may also ru!n ur career in the long-run. Always tread carefully.”
Displeased with the comment, Peruzzi wrote: “Your Mouth Go Dey Smell. E Sure Me”.
Davido Drags DJ Maphorisa
Meanwhile, Davido has reacted after DJ Maphorisa, downplayed his role in Amapiano’s success in Africa, giving credit to his colleagues Wizkid and Burna Boy only.
This comes after a fan claimed Davido brought Amapiano to Africa and made it a successful genre.
The fan claimed that many African singers have been benefiting from Davido’s success for over 12 years.
Reacting to the post, Maphorisa corrected the fan saying that he and Kabza were the first to put Wizkid and Burna Boy on Amapiano songs.
He wrote: “Kabza & Maphorisa was the first to put Wizkid n Burnaboy on a amapiano song Sponono dat was a historical moment 3 years ago, research before tweet also it was the first time Wiz n Burna jumped on a same song together let it sink in.”
Responding to the tweet, Davido dragged Maphorisa, stating that he (Maphorisa) had never liked him, despite being good to him.
