Nigerian artiste signed to Nigerian record label YBNL, Ahmed Ololade, known by his stage name as Asake, has apologized to fans in Birmingham, United Kingdom for showing up late for his concert.
Naija News reports that the sensational artistwas billed to perform at The Forum, Birmingham in a sold-out show which is part of his “Mr. Money With The Vibes” UK tour.
However, in the video that surfaced on social media, captured the moment the red-hot artist arrived to the show late, which led some of his passionate fans who were unhappy about the development to boo him on stage.
Reacting to the incident, Asake via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday, December 4th apologized to the Birmingham fans for coming.
The rising star, who took 2022 by storm, by dropping hits back to back, said his promoters delayed his pick-up time for reasons best known to them.
He further appreciated the fans for their patience and understanding.
“Birmingham I’m sorry for the delay yesterday. The promoters delayed my pick-up time for reasons best known to them, But I’m super grateful for your patience and understanding,” the tweet reads.
Asake is billed to perform in London at the O2 Brixton Arena on 15th December and fans will be hoping that there’s no repeat of the incident in Birmingham.
