Afrobeats Maestro, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has reacted to an online Tiktok prank that has got a lot of people talking.
Naija News reports that a trending prank video known as the ‘Celebrity Death Prank’ which involves telling one’s parents that their favorite celebrity is dead has sparked mixed reactions on social media.
The format consists of someone covertly filming another person, usually a parental figure, while telling them that a famous figure has passed away.
The trend gained traction towards the final moments of 2022 and continued in 2023.
In a very recent clip, a lady pranked her mom by telling her that Burna Boy had passed on after suffering from a heart attack.
In response her mom screamed in agony.
Reacting, Burnaboy reshared the viral clip on his official TikTok page, and wrote; “Mum I’m fine.”

Meanwhile, an alleged post from Diddy making fun of Burna Boy for trying to win without his help subsequently began to make the rounds on social media.
The said post, which has gone viral, alleged that the rapper posted on his Instagram page saying; “I helped you win your first and only Grammy award, which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help? Oh okay.”
The American rapper, however, took to the comment section of the post to state that it was fake.
“This is fake.”
