Nigerian comedian, Emmanuel Iwueke, better known as Craze Clown, has opened up on his relationship with Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu, who died in the unfortunate earthquake in Turkey recently.
Naija News understands that Craze Clown had his tertiary education at Delta State University before proceeding to the University of Maiduguri and then the University of Legon in Ghana.
Later, the YouTuber got admission to the Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine, where he studied his dream course, Medicine.
Recalling the past after the news of Atsu’s death broke the internet, Craze Clown said the late footballer paid his school fees until he graduated from school when he lost his father.
Naija News reports that the comedian disclosed this while mourning the footballer’s death via his Twitter handle on Saturday.
According to him, Atsu had been his supporter since 2015, saying, “Christian has been supporting me from way back 2015.
“When I lost my dad, he reached out and offered to pay my fees til I graduated and he did. you’ve been a great friend of mine Chris and I will surely miss you. I really can’t hold back the tears. Rest well brother”
Naija News reported earlier that the remains of Atsu were found under the rubble eleven days after the devastating 7.8-magnitude quake hit Turkey.
