Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has averred that President Muhammadu Buhari, is not supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, to emerge winner in the February 25, election.
Naija News reports that this is coming amidst the Naira redesign policy which many APC chieftains claim was targeted at Tinubu’s victory and has caused confusion among them.
In a post via Instagram, Eniola Badmus stated while Tinubu can boast of being instrumental in Buhari becoming the president, the latter cannot say he has been doing likewise for the former governor of Lagos State to emerge as president.
According to the thespian, If Tinubu wins the election, it is not because his party is the ruling party, but due to the faith which many Nigerians personally have in him.
While expressing confidence that Tinubu would win the election, Eniola added that nobody should attribute his victory to APC because he is fighting his battle himself.
She wrote: “Let it be known that if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins this election, it’s not because his party is the ruling party. It’s because of the faith Nigerians have in him personally.
‘While Tinubu can boast that he was instrumental to PMB becoming president, PMB can not say he’s been instrumental in achieving Tinubu’s presidency.
No one should later say Tinubu won because his party is in power. He is fighting his battle himself.”
