Practitioner Reveals Why Portable Is Every Lawyer’s Nightmare

Nigerian lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has said that controversial singers such as Portable are every lawyer’s nightmare due to their problematic and deviant nature.

Effiong In a post shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, said that the singer is the type of client who will do and say things that are contradictory to a lawyer’s strategy.

“When it comes to having problematic, difficult and deviant clients, Portable is every lawyer’s nightmare. He is the type of client that will be doing things and making comments that are counter productive to a lawyer’s strategy.” he wrote

Portable Risks Prosecution Over Unruly Conduct

Meanwhile, Nigerian police spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to the viral video of  Portable, resisting arrest at his bar, saying the conduct is unruly and punishable under law.

Recall that Naija News reported that the police officers stormed the singer’s bar in a bid to arrest him on Tuesday.

Portable claimed that internet fraudsters were the ones that brought the officers to the club to make the arrest.

In a viral video, the officers said they received a petition against Portable and were there to arrest him.

Confirming the arrest, the Ogun state police command said several invitations were sent to Portable but he ignored them all, hence the decision of the police to invade his bar and effect his arrest.

In a statement released on Wednesday, March 29, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, condemned Portable’s conduct and said the police will take all necessary steps to investigate his actions and ensure he is prosecuted for any criminal activity he may have committed depending on the severity of the offense.
