She disclosed that her ex-husband does not contribute significantly to their daughters lives hence his absence won’t make any difference.

”However, the children’s father hasn’t significantly contributed to their lives. So, whether he’s present or not, it wouldn’t affect what the children need.”

Venita Ex-husband Speaks On Giving Former BBNaija Housemate To Other Tiv Men For Pleasure

Meanwhile, Venita’s ex-husband , Trna Mbakoaa Tarka has reacted to his ex-wife’s statement that Tiv men give their wives to their guests for pleasure.

Venita made the statement during the Big Brother Naija All-Stars season but she later apologized after the show ended, saying that her statement was misunderstood.

She had said, “There is one thing I feel got twisted which is actually the statement I made about Tiv people. My daughters are actually Tivs so there is no way I will be trying to make any kind of malicious or slanderous comment towards their people, for those that are offended by it, I am regretful.”

Reacting to the statement in a viral video on Wednesday, Tarka stated that the narrative is not true and he never gave his wife to other men for pleasure.

He said, “I am here to address a very controversial narrative that has been making rounds all over social media and the news. This is regarding a statement that when Tiv men host their guests, they give their wives out to these guests for pleasure purposes. I would like to categorically state that in all my years of hosting my guests, even the thought of such a derogatory practice has never crossed my mind so therefore such a thing never occurred in my marriage.

“Coming from a prominent family it is easy to be the target of a backlash regarding this matter. Such a practice has never occurred or existed within the Tiv culture or any other Nigerian culture for that matter.”

He added: “Tiv men are fiercely protective over their wives and daughters I strongly suggest against trespassing. Yes, we go to any length to ensure that our guests feel as if they are VIPs.”

Tark also apologised to everyone who was affected by the statement, adding that co-parenting comes with its own challenges.
