Former Governor of Oyo state and the Otun Olubadan, High Chief Rashid Ladoja, has revealed that he won’t be supporting any presidential aspirant in the upcoming 2023 elections.
Ladoja made his stance known during an interview with newsmen at his Bodija residence in commemoration of this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
The former governor said that the reason for his decision not to pledge allegiance to anyone was because no aspirant had emerged as the flag bearer of the various political parties.
He added that it would be too early to endorse an aspirant considering that they have not emerged as candidates in their respective political parties.
In other news, President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday spoke about his successor ahead of the 2023 general election.
Recall that President Buhari during an interview last year had stated that his successor might be eliminated if he reveals the identity.
